Emergency:- The Dark days of ‘Democracy & Indian Judiciary’

The Dark days of ‘Democracy & Indian Judiciary’:- A Poem

‘There was great declaration, on Independence of Men,
That the People possessed some Unalienable Rights, of Life and Liberty, now and then,
History has shown, how the Liberty was put to dust,
Where the Shield of Speech and Expression was made to rust,
Dissent was put to rest, with an arbitrary reason,
Dissenters were put to rest, by being thrown in Prison,

Locked in an invisible prison, Liberty of a Subject is lost,
A most cherished principle of life & law, which can’t be regained at any cost,
Subject’s life without liberty is, like a flower without smell,
Life in this paradise would be no better than hell,
Law owe its virtue through liberty of State’s men,
How will it uphold its virtue, when it is crushed, under writings of a lawful pen?

For there is no worse torture than torture of law,
If injustice is done in the ordained name & command of Law,
As Laws are made for men, not men are made for the Laws,
Justice should be given to men, not to the Laws,

So let’s take the Pledge today that Democracy shall not live only on the Paper,
Let’s take the pledge today that there will never be an another Constitutional Dictator,
For its good to be a traitor, who could be punished by Law and its Interpreter,
But who would punish the one, that bears the mask of Constitution and still its violator,

So even the People die, the Truth shall never fall,
So even the People die, Liberty be the People’s Call,
So even the People die, the Rule of Law, be above all…

Thank You...
